Join us for an evening with Jure Simčič of multigenerational winery EDI SIMČIČ.

The Simčič winery began in the early 1960's in Goriska Brda, Slovenia by Jakob's grandparent's Edi and Marica. Brda, nestled in the hills just across the border from the Friulian region, in Northeastern Italy, boasts cool southern Alpine as well as warm northern Mediterranean influences. Together, they create the perfect environment for textured, mineral whites; and complex reds from extremely old Bordeaux varieties.

Our Vintner's Spotlight will offer cheese and charcuterie, a flight of wines from EDI SIMČIČ and a chance to pick Jure's brain about their work in sustainable farming and the incredible terroir in this Slovenian border region.

$35 entry, limited seats available. 5:30 - 7:30 PM.
