Sono Montenidoli is without question one of our most important addresses for Tuscan wine. Elisabetta Fagiuoli and husband Sergio founded their winery in 1965, escaping the traditions of arranged marriage to pursue the adventure of wild love founded in the spirit of abandoned vineyards and olive groves in the valleys of San Gimignano. Montenidoli means the mountain of the little nests. The winery has operated using organic practices since day one. Elisabetta is one of the most special characters and impassioned winemakers we've encountered in our years, and she has carried on the tradition of this gorgeous estate still dotted with vineyards, olives trees and vegetables planted in its center.
